The Role

  • Lead the clinical delivery of the home, ensuring exceptional standards of nursing care
  • Support and deputise for the General Manager where required
  • Provide visible leadership, coaching and support to the nursing team
  • Lead clinical governance, audits, quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and internal quality standards
  • Support the recruitment, retention and development of clinical colleagues
  • Work collaboratively with department managers and the wider multidisciplinary team
  • Build strong relationships with residents, relatives and external healthcare professionals
  • Promote a positive, resident-focused culture centred around dignity, safety and person-centred care

Candidate Requirements

  • RGN qualification with an active NMC Pin
  • Previous experience as a Clinical Services Manager, Clinical Deputy Manager, Deputy Manager or Clinical Lead within an elderly nursing home
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, clinical governance and quality improvement
  • Proven experience leading, mentoring and developing nursing teams
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
  • A passion for delivering outstanding, person-centred elderly care
  • The ability to influence positive change and continuously improve clinical standards
