Overview: Compass Associates is excited to be working with a well-established, national provider of case management and Expert Witness services, to recruit Experienced Case Managers across the UK. There are opportunities available for both the Catastrophic Injuries and Rehabilitation/Multi-Track Case Management Divisions, depending on your clinical experience and specialism. You will hold a caseload of children and/or adults who have complex rehabilitation needs or life-changing injuries due to backgrounds of traumatic/acquired brain injuries, clinical negligence, birth trauma, spinal cord injuries or orthopaedic injuries. This is a home-based role which will involve travel to visit clients, families, solicitors and care teams, within your geographical remit. For minor injury cases, there will be times where it is more appropriate to complete INAs/reviews over the phone or via video call.
Contracts Available: Both Employed and Associate contracts are available but a minimum of 3 days/week is essential.
Salaries/Rates (all dependent on experience):
- Employed Multi-Track/Rehabilitation Case Manager: £35,000 - £45,000
- Employed Catastrophic Case Manager: £45,000 - £60,000
- Associate Case Managers: up to £70/hour
Essential Criteria:
- Must have experience working as a Case Manager, either within an NHS Spinal Centre or in the medico-legal/case management sector
- Experience working with clients (adults or children) who have backgrounds of complex injuries including multi-trauma, orthopaedic injuries or catastrophic brain and/or spinal cord injuries
- Must be a qualified Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Speech & Language Therapist, Social Worker, Sports Therapist or Social Worker
- Must have current registration with the HCPC, SWE or NMC
- Must have a UK driving licence and own car
Location: This is a home-based role but will require travel to visit clients, families, solicitors and other healthcare professionals. Client locations are dependent on your home-location, specialism and referrals but aim to be within 2 hours of where you live.
