Compass Associates are working exclusively with a respected elderly care provider to appoint a Regional Support Manager for their Scottish portfolio. This is a high-impact operational role supporting a group of care homes through quality improvement, regulatory readiness, cultural development and leadership strengthening. The position would particularly suit an experienced, nurse-qualified operator with a track record in turnaround, troubleshooting or multi-site improvement support.
The Opportunity
As Regional Support Manager, you will provide hands-on operational leadership across a number of services, working closely with Home Managers and the Regional Operations Manager. You will play a key role in:
- Supporting services during periods of transition or heightened scrutiny
- Leading and monitoring improvement plans
- Strengthening compliance, governance and clinical quality
- Conducting site visits, audits and walk rounds
- Coaching and developing Home Managers and senior teams
- Supporting occupancy, staffing and commercial performance
- Assisting with onboarding, leadership gaps and service stability
- Promoting a culture rooted in accountability, compassion and continuous improvement
This is a varied and mobile role with genuine scope to influence outcomes across the region. Occasional evening, weekend and on-call responsibilities may be required.
What We’re Looking For
- Nurse-qualified (NMC) with strong operational experience
- Background in care home management, regional support or quality leadership
- Strong working knowledge of CI/CQC standards
- Exposure to turnaround or service improvement
- Excellent communication, coaching and relationship-building skills
- Confident analysing data and driving measured action
- Full UK driving licence
