LOCATION: West of Scotland and Northern Services

Compass Associates are supporting a respected, values-led social care organisation in the recruitment of a Regional Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of adult services across the West of Scotland and wider northern regions. This is a senior leadership role combining strategic oversight with hands-on operational leadership. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping service delivery, strengthening governance, quality and supporting future service development within a growing and ambitious organisation.

THE ROLE

  • Providing strategic and operational leadership across a portfolio of housing support and outreach services
  • Leading, coaching and supporting Service Managers and senior teams
  • Oversight of service delivery, quality and performance across the region
  • Strengthening governance, inspection readiness and regulatory relationships
  • Working closely with Local Authority Commissioners and sector regulators
  • Supporting service consolidation, development and growth opportunities
  • Embedding a positive, supportive leadership culture aligned with advanced autism practice

This role offers a balance of strategic influence and visible leadership, with scope to shape services and contribute to longer-term organisational growth.

ABOUT YOU

This opportunity will suit an experienced social care leader who brings:

  • A relevant professional qualification and senior management experience
  • A strong track record of leading multi-site or complex service portfolios
  • Confidence working with regulators, commissioners and external stakeholders
  • Excellent leadership, coaching and influencing skills
  • A collaborative, values-led approach aligned with autism-informed practice
  • The ability to operate comfortably at both strategic and operational level

You will be an effective communicator and relationship-builder, able to influence, challenge and support teams while maintaining high standards of care and governance.

LOCATION AND WORKING ARRANGEMENTS

The role covers services across the West of Scotland and wider northern regions. Location is flexible, with a blend of home working and travel to regional offices and services as required.

CANDIDATE SUITABILITY NOTE
