The portfolio includes large nursing services, smaller specialist dementia units, and services with strong regulatory ratings.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned operational leader with a clinical background (RGN or RMN preferred) to join a provider with a reputation for quality and innovation. The successful candidate will report to the Operations Director and play a key role in shaping regional performance, culture, and care outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee five homes, with a remit that includes elderly nursing, dementia, and complex care services
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and accountability for Home Managers
  • Drive quality improvements across the region, ensuring CQC compliance and governance standards
  • Improve and maintain occupancy and financial performance across the homes
  • Lead turnaround and commissioning efforts where required
  • Develop effective stakeholder relationships with local authorities, ICS partners, and regulators
  • Provide concise and timely updates to the executive team on performance, sector trends, and operational activity
  • Champion a culture of transparency, collaboration, and clinical excellence
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience as a Regional Manager / Regional Director in elderly or complex care
  • Background in managing managers and delivering results across multiple sites
  • Strong commercial understanding, with proven ability to improve occupancy and drive financial performance
  • Excellent understanding of CQC standards and quality governance frameworks
  • A visible and hands-on leadership style with the ability to build trust with operational teams
  • Ideally RGN or RMN qualified with experience in mental health or complex care
  • Track record in turnaround, commissioning, and stakeholder management

If you’re a confident and commercially minded operator with a background in elderly care and a passion for quality, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact in a respected and luxurious growing care group.

The remit covers a diverse and well-invested group of homes, including:

  • A prominent 120-bed home offering high-quality nursing and residential care, currently rated Good by the CQC
  • A 125-bed flagship site delivering a full spectrum of care, including residential, nursing, and dementia support
  • A dual-site model, where two smaller dementia nursing homes are successfully overseen by a single Home Manager
  • Two newly launched services that are progressing well and awaiting their first CQC inspection
  • Strong occupancy levels across the region, with one home in the early growth phase following recent commissioning

Location: The homes within this portfolio are commutable from the following locations: Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, Sheffield, Manchester, Cheshire, Macclesfield, Bolton, Stoke-on-Trent, Crewe, Warrington, Liverpool, Rochdale, Stockport, Oldham, Halifax, Barnsley, Wakefield, Chesterfield and Rotherham.
