Compass Associates are currently working in an exclusive partnership with a reputable complex care provider with a strong presence in the Midlands who are currently seeking a Recruitment Manager to lead and develop the internal recruitment function.
This is a key strategic and operational role, responsible for ensuring the attraction, selection and onboarding of high-quality talent across the organisation. The Recruitment Manager will manage a small team, contribute to workforce planning and recruitment strategy, and take ownership of the recruitment budget, ensuring cost-effective and innovative sourcing solutions within a specialist care environment.

- Foster a proactive, solutions-focused recruitment culture aligned with organisational values
- Design and implement recruitment strategies to meet workforce needs across all services
- Partner closely with operational leaders to understand staffing requirements, skill gaps and future demand
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes for a range of roles, including frontline care, specialist and management positions
- Ensure recruitment practices are compliant with safer recruitment standards and sector regulations
- Manage and optimise the recruitment budget, including spend across job boards, advertising platforms and other sourcing methods
- Evaluate and introduce effective sourcing channels, including direct sourcing, social media, referrals and local engagement
- Monitor cost-per-hire, time-to-hire and return on investment across recruitment activities
- Continuously review and improve recruitment processes to enhance candidate experience and hiring efficiency
- Lead, develop and nurture a small recruitment team
Requirements:
- Proven experience in recruitment within healthcare or social care (essential)
- Strong understanding of recruitment within a specialist care or complex needs environment
- Experience managing and developing a recruitment team
- Demonstrable experience managing a recruitment budget
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
