This is an excellent opportunity for somebody with a genuine passion for customer service to join a premium private clinic, working within a friendly and fast-paced environment where the client experience is at the heart of everything they do.
You do not necessarily need previous experience within aesthetics or healthcare. The clinic is primarily looking for somebody who is naturally warm, welcoming, professional and personable, with the ability to make every client feel comfortable from the moment they arrive. Experience within private healthcare, dentistry, aesthetics, luxury retail, premium hospitality, beauty, wellness or another high-quality customer-facing environment would all translate well.
The Role
As Front of House Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients visiting the clinic and will play an important role in delivering an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming clients and visitors to the clinic
- Managing incoming telephone calls, emails and WhatsApp enquiries
- Booking and confirming appointments
- Providing clients with information regarding treatments and services
- Taking payments and issuing receipts
- Coordinating closely with clinical and administrative teams
- Ensuring the reception environment remains organised and welcoming
- Assisting with product displays and stock
- Responding professionally to client queries or concerns
- Providing wider administrative support where required
This is a busy environment, so you will need to be comfortable multitasking while continuing to provide a warm and professional service.
Working Pattern
This is a full-time position working an alternating rota. Hours:
- Monday: 09:00 - 18:30
- Tuesday: 11:00 - 20:00
- Thursday: 09:00 - 18:30
- Friday: 09:00 - 18:30
- Saturday: 09:00 - 17:00
Candidates must therefore be comfortable with regular Saturday working and some later weekday finishes.
Who Are We Looking For?
Previous front-of-house, reception or premium customer-service experience would be highly advantageous. More importantly, you should be:
- Naturally warm, positive and welcoming
- Confident speaking with clients both face-to-face and over the telephone
- Professionally presented
- Organised and comfortable multitasking
- Calm under pressure
- Reliable and conscientious
- Comfortable working within a busy environment
- Confident using booking systems, email and general administration
- Able to deliver excellent customer service consistently throughout the day
- Interested in building a longer-term career within a premium private clinic
Previous experience within aesthetics, beauty, private healthcare or dentistry would be particularly relevant, although candidates from premium retail, hospitality, wellness and other luxury customer-facing environments are equally encouraged to apply.
