Do you want to be part of an Outstanding CQC rated organisation? Are you looking to join a growth-led business with ambitious plans for the future and invests in their team? Do you want to work for a private-backed organisation built on excellent values?

Overview

Compass Associates is proud to be exclusively partnering with a specialist provider of adult learning disability and autism services. The organisation holds an Outstanding CQC rating and was recently awarded an Advanced accreditation by the National Autistic Society, one of only 35 organisations nationally to achieve this. Following a period of significant growth, we are working together to appoint a Quality and Compliance Lead to join their expanding quality function.

We are looking for a Quality and Compliance Lead to help maintain and build on the organisation's outstanding standards, working alongside an existing quality team member as the business continues to expand into new regions. Ideally we are looking for an experienced Quality professional with a strong understanding of CQC frameworks and standards, confident leading on audits, and genuinely passionate about driving quality within adult social care.

Working closely with the Service Director and wider multidisciplinary team, including Operations, PBS and Training - you will take ownership of a portfolio of services, split by client risk and need, providing the assurance, analysis and reporting that supports the organisation's continued outstanding performance. The role is field-based, working across services in London (Barnet & Haringey), Bedfordshire, Brighton and Bexhill, with a base at the Enfield office with occasional working from home.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a dedicated Quality, Quality Assurance or Quality and Compliance role within adult social care is essential; experience within a larger, multi-site provider is advantageous
  • Excellent understanding of CQC standards and frameworks, with confident audit experience
  • Background in residential or supported living settings is beneficial but not essential — full induction and training will be provided
  • Genuine passion for quality and compliance within services for adults with learning disabilities and autism
  • Confident, engaging presenter, comfortable representing the organisation at external inspections and visits
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across services

Interview Process

Two stages: 1st stage will be an informal conversation with the Service Director, in person or via MS Teams, to discuss the role and get to know you. If successful, 2nd stage will be a formal face-to-face interview, including a short presentation on quality, followed by a competency-based discussion.

Salary & Benefits

£45,000 - £50,000 per annum (flexible for the right candidate) mileage, 22 days annual leave + 8 Bank Holidays.
