Up to £53,600 FTE per annum + Generous Welcome Bonus AND Mileage

Overview:

Compass Associates is pleased to be collaborating with a rapidly expanding provider of therapy-driven support for children across the UK. They have been established for nearly 20 years and have built up a large portfolio of residential children’s homes, supported accommodation services and specialist education settings; numbering over 50 services in total.

Our client is seeking a Psychologist to provide specialist psychological input to a small caseload of young people across a few residential homes in Wiltshire, including a brand new assessment home which is the first of its kind in the company’s portfolio. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead the organisation into this new venture and will be ably supported by their Head of Psychology and established psychology department.

Location: Hybrid remote: you will work from home, in addition to visiting a small number of homes in Wiltshire. These are commutable from Glastonbury, Bristol, Melksham, Salisbury, Bath, Swindon, Thatcham, Andover, Southampton, Yeovil, Basingstoke, Winchester and other surrounding towns and villages.

Criteria:

  • HCPC Registered Practitioner Psychologist (Educational / Clinical / Counselling / Forensic)
  • Clinical experience working with children

Shift Pattern: You will work full-time, Mon – Fri, 37.5 hours per week.

Interview Process: This will be a two-stage process, as follows:

  • 1st Stage – informal introductory virtual meeting
  • 2nd stage – formal interview

Salary and Benefits: This position pays up to £53,600 per annum (Band 8a) + generous welcome bonus AND mileage allowance, and includes an industry-leading benefit package as follows:
