We are working with a highly respected independent healthcare provider to recruit a General Practitioner for a secure healthcare setting in East Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality care to a vulnerable patient population in a unique and rewarding environment.
The Role
You will play a key role in the reception and intake of new patients, carrying out assessments, managing acute and ongoing healthcare needs, and supporting safe prescribing practices. You’ll work closely with nursing, mental health and substance misuse teams to ensure joined-up, patient-centred care.
Hours
- Tuesday: 6pm – 10pm
- Wednesday: 6pm – 10pm
- Friday: 6pm – 10pm
- Alternate Saturday: 2pm – 6pm
Total: 14 hours per week
Salary
Up to £134,680 FTE (pro rata) depending on experience
Requirements
- GMC registered GP with licence to practise
- Inclusion on the GP Performers List
- Confident in managing complex patients
- Experience prescribing controlled drugs / substance misuse treatments
- Strong clinical judgement and ability to work autonomously
- Right to work in the UK
