The Practice:
We are fully equipped with everything you need. For new pets and their health assessment, our diagnostics suite has: endoscope, ultrasound; Digital & dental X-ray; ECG; Blood pressure monitoring and Pre anaesthetic monitoring as well as a very large laboratory set up. We run all sorts of soft tissue and orthopaedic surgeries in house including: Removal of foreign bodies, Biopsies, Fracture repair, Cruciate ligament surgery and amputation, Extractions and routine scale & polishes, Caesarean sections, Biopsies and eye surgeries to name a handful! We have a price list published online so clients can check before any "money talk" in practice, and most are in our pet healthcare plans.
Our team are managed by 2 brilliant Directors, both of whom have been with the company for years! Alongside, there is a team of just under 1 dozen surgeons and a full team of RVNs, ACAs and non-clinical staff! Experience levels and interests are truly varied so you will work alongside certificate holders and new graduates. Based near Preston, we are commutable from Blackpool, Blackburn, Bolton, Southport, Wigan, Lancaster and all surrounding areas.
The Job:
This role is open to both full and part time applicants and can tailor the role around yourself. There is the possibility for consult-only, dedicated operating days and structured development, including one-to-one surgical guidance!
You:
MRCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon with experience within a small animal clinic. Pet-first approach and a real commitment to animal welfare. Loves being a vet!
