Remit: Compass Associates are delighted to be working with a leading private healthcare provider in their search for a Clinical Pharmacist to join a close-knit team within their hospital based in Southampton. The 70-bed hospital offers internationally renowned care to patients across the south of England, treating a range of conditions across Cardiac, Oncology and critical care as well dealing with a range of different surgeries.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role or have considerable experience as a Pharmacy Technician. They would have previous experience directly with patients and be comfortable in using their clinical knowledge to provide an excellent standard of care. The role will be assisting with the day to day running of pharmacy dispensary service, ensuring safe and effective practice is provided to patients.
This role has a range of development opportunities available, with support and training provided for both clinical understanding and localised processes. The hospital are happy to consider candidates coming from GP or community backgrounds.

Requirements:
- Registration as a Pharmacy Technician within the General Pharmaceutical Council
- NVQ Level 3 in Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent
- ACT or MMT qualification desirable but not essential
