Compass Associates are excited to be working with one of the UK’s most exciting Pharmacy groups, offering both high street and online Pharmacy operation. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Pharmacy Manager to lead their Newhaven community pharmacy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, effective, and legally compliant delivery of pharmaceutical services while driving high standards of patient care. This is a key leadership role involving operational management, staff development, and service expansion across both NHS and private offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure full compliance with GPhC standards and all legal, ethical, and professional requirements.
  • Lead, support, and train pharmacy staff including technicians and counter teams.
  • Communicate effectively with prescribers to clarify and optimise patient therapies.
  • Deliver and promote a range of NHS and private pharmacy services.
  • Oversee stock control, ordering, and budget management.
  • Maintain accurate patient and stock records using pharmacy IT systems.
  • Stay up-to-date on new medicines, guidance, and industry developments.

Proven experience as a community pharmacist, IT literate with confidence using pharmacy systems, and committed to ongoing professional development are essential.

Working hours: Monday – Friday, 9am–6.30pm (paid lunch break).

This Community Pharmacy is based in Newhaven and commutable from Seaford, Eastbourne, Brighton, Lewes, Hove, Uckfield and Haywards Heath.
