Compass Associates are delighted to be working with one of the UK’s leading Community Pharmacy groups in the search for a diligent Pharmacy Manager to join lead dynamic team within a Hospital Outpatient Department Pharmacy in the Salisbury area. As a well respected pharmacy group, our client is committed to providing the highest standard of care to their patients.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and will be able to work effectively as a part of a cohesive team. You’ll have a “can-do” attitude and will have a passion for providing great care to the community.

As a Pharmacist Manager in one of our clients hospital branches you will be given extensive and specialist training as well as gaining exposure to the hospital pharmacy environment.

The branch is bright, modern space with a welcoming atmosphere and everything you need to make your day run smoothly. You\'ll be supported by a great team, including a qualified Technician, and the tools to help you focus on what matters most—providing excellent care to the patients.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Provide medication counselling and support to patients, answering their questions and addressing concerns.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to optimise patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory.
  • Offer advice on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products.

What You’ll Bring

  • Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Proven pharmacy experience preferably in a hospital setting
  • Strong commitment to patient care and safety
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical products and healthcare trends
  • A flexible and positive approach to problem-solving

This Hospital is located in Salisbury and commutable from Blandford Forum, Poole, Bournemouth, Fordingbridge, Ringwood, Totton, Romsey, Winchester, Stockbridge, Middle Wallop, Andover, Warminster and Tidworth.
