Join a fast-growing, award-winning healthcare provider revolutionising primary care across the UK.
We’re proud to be working in partnership with a fast-growing, award-winning healthcare organisation that’s reshaping the way services are delivered within Primary Care Networks (PCNs). With over 25 years’ combined experience across the NHS, health informatics, and clinical leadership, their model supports GP practices and PCNs nationwide – reducing pressure, enhancing outcomes, and raising the bar for service excellence.
As they expand their footprint across new regions, an exciting opportunity has opened for a dynamic PCN Operations Manager to join their leadership team. If you thrive in people management and operational delivery and want to drive meaningful change in a growing organisation – this could be your perfect next move.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As PCN Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operational leadership of a busy primary care site – managing over 40 staff across clinical and non-clinical teams, and directly supporting four GPs. You’ll play a key role in shaping team culture, driving service improvements, and ensuring safe, effective care is delivered to the local population.
- Lead, inspire and develop a large multidisciplinary team within the PCN
- Manage site-level operations including staffing, workflow, and service delivery
- Promote a culture of high performance, collaboration and continuous improvement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the PCN and partner organisations
- Ensure compliance with all relevant clinical governance and NHS standards
- Support recruitment, induction and ongoing development of team members
- Collaborate with GPs and PCN leaders on service planning and operational priorities
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience within a Primary Care or PCN setting – essential
- Background as a Practice Manager, Business Manager or Operations Manager within the NHS or GP environment
- Strong people leadership skills with experience managing large teams
- Knowledge of primary care structures, PCN frameworks, and operational delivery
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive, solution-focused approach and confident decision-maker
- Strong organisational and planning capabilities
- Committed to delivering patient-centred care and improving outcomes
Why Join?
Though confidential at this stage, the hiring organisation is well-established, forward-thinking, and poised for growth. They offer a stable, supportive environment and real opportunity to influence how care is delivered locally.
- Competitive Salary of £40,000–£50,000 (depending on experience)
- Bonus scheme
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Progression Opportunities – Grow into senior or regional leadership roles
- Tailored Development – Personalised training and mentorship
- Supportive Culture – Transparent, collaborative and values-driven
- Perks & Benefits – Pension, staff discounts, regular team events
