With a “put the patient first” mentality and a transcending care for their employee’s career paths, this a great opportunity to continue your growth as an Optometrist; you will also be given full refractive and cataract surgery training as soon as you start, and there will also be the option Sponsor your Independent Prescribing (IP) Course.
Role Overview
This role is ideal for an Optometrist with 1-2 years post-registration experience, who is eager to expand their clinical skillset. Full specialist training will be provided, including refractive, cataract, and glaucoma pathways. You\’ll be working in a modern clinic environment where patient care is paramount and continuous professional development is encouraged.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering essential and advanced eye examinations
- Supporting ophthalmologists with clinical assessments
- Conducting pre- and post-operative consultations for cataract and refractive procedures
Requirements
- GOC Registered
- Minimum 1 years UK post-registration experience
- BSc in Optometry
- Strong clinical decision-making and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about delivering exceptional patient care
- Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team
- Prior experience in a private or clinical setting is a plus
