We are supporting a large, independent veterinary hospital based in West Sussex who are looking to add to their Nights team with a new OOH Veterinary Surgeon.
The Practice:
We have our flagship hospital supported by a fantastic group of local clinics and have several other providers send their patients to us for their OOH requirements. The hospital has everything you could want under 1 roof to provide veterinary care: endoscopy with video link; diathermy equipment; modern diagnostic & dentals and a multitude of consulting and surgical rooms. We\βve also separate staff space for you to enjoy your time away from the patient facing rooms. We\βre also a cat friendly clinic and are looking to get more awards under our name.
Our team consists of 2 dozen vets with confident RVNs to support and a wealth of non-clinical support so you can focus on what you do best.
The Role:
As our OOH Vet you will be responsible for in patient care and overseeing the hospital when any ECC cases come in. You are supported by RVNs and have the option for EIV. Some nights are quiet, others we are rammed. This is a great chance to develop your emergency skills and take a lead within an independent organisation. The rota would be either 7-on/14-off OR 3-on/7-off/4-on/7-off. There is not accommodation available for this role.
