Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with a highly respected and fast-growing provider of mental health services. We’re currently supporting the search for a Medication Management Specialist to join the clinical team in a newly created, non-patient facing role focused on improving medication safety, titration processes, and compliance across ADHD services.

This is a rare opportunity to join an award-winning organisation known for delivering high-quality, evidence-based care across neurodevelopmental and mental health services. You’ll work closely with senior leadership, prescribers, cardiac physiologists, and wider clinical teams to ensure robust medication pathways are in place to support both patients and clinicians.

This role would suit an experienced Independent Prescriber (Pharmacist or Nurse Prescriber) with a strong mental health background, ideally with experience in ADHD medication management and a passion for patient safety and process improvement.

The Role

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for medication oversight and safety across remote ADHD services. You will provide guidance on medication suitability, side effects, titration, and continuity of supply, while supporting operational rollouts of EPS systems and internal procedures. This is a home-based position with standard office hours and flexibility where needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist input on ADHD medications, titration outcomes and side effect profiles
  • Oversee repeat prescription workflows and ensure alignment with clinical recommendations
  • Act as a clinical lead for medication safety and quality assurance in EPS (Electronic Prescription Service) implementation
  • Liaise with cardiac physiologists to coordinate pre-treatment investigations (e.g. ECGs)
  • Support the review and improvement of internal policies, compliance checks, and medication documentation
  • Handle medicine-related queries from prescribers, operations, or patients
  • Participate in MDT meetings and contribute to service improvement plans
  • Ensure effective stock control, referral tracking, and CRM system data quality

Person Specification

  • Pharmacist or Nurse Prescriber with active Independent Prescribing (IP) qualification
  • Experience prescribing or managing ADHD medications within a mental health setting
  • Strong knowledge of side effect management, titration safety, and remote care pathways
  • Familiarity with EPS systems, CRM tools, and patient pathways
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Desire to complete or already hold a Postgraduate Mental Health Therapeutics qualification
  • Able to manage workload independently and work collaboratively across clinical and non-clinical teams

Salary & Benefits

  • Starting salary of £50,000 basic salary
  • 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays (rising with longevity)
  • Additional day off for your birthday
  • Life Assurance
  • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) & Wellbeing Portal
  • Benefits and discounts platform
  • Opportunities to participate in charitable and wellbeing events

Location

Remote – Home-based with occasional online meetings. Applicants must be UK-based.
