About the Role
Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with a valued client to recruit a Clinical Deputy Manager for a well-performing elderly nursing home near Newbury. The home provides nursing, dementia and residential care and is seeking a clinically strong, hands-on leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality care to elderly residents. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager or Clinical Lead looking to join a stable, supportive service with a strong clinical focus.
You will work closely with the Home Manager, leading clinical practice, supporting staff development, and ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong clinical leadership across the home
- Support and mentor nursing and care teams
- Ensure excellent standards of elderly and dementia care
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Support clinical governance, audits and compliance
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN (RGN or RMN)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Deputy Manager or Clinical Lead
- Previous nursing home experience essential
- Strong background in elderly and dementia nursing
- Excellent leadership, communication and clinical skills
- Genuine passion for elderly care
