Compass Associates are delighted to be working with one of the UK’s leading Community Pharmacy groups in the search for a diligent Pharmacist to join a dynamic team within a Hospital Outpatient Department Pharmacy in Salford. As a well-respected pharmacy group, our client is committed to providing the highest standard of care to their patients. It specialises in Dermatology, Haematology, Oncology and has a busy A&E.
You will be given extensive and specialist training as well as gaining exposure to the hospital pharmacy environment.
Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.
- Provide medication counselling and support to patients, answering their questions and addressing concerns.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to optimise patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy information.
- Offer advice on over-the-counter medications and healthcare.
Requirements:
- Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Proven pharmacy experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical products and healthcare.
- A flexible and positive approach to problem-solving.
