Remit

Compass Associates have been mandated to source a Managing Director for a luxury care provider on the South Coast, with a view to supporting the group operationally to ensure high standards of care for elderly people. The group currently operate a remit of care homes in the South with the aim to double in size over the next 5 years.

Key points

- Lead on the organisation\'s overall strategic direction

- Support and work closely with the SLT to drive performance around day to day working of the business.

- Develop and lead organisation-wide management systems, involving planning and monitoring the delivery of all care-related projects and programmes, integrating responsive actions and identifying necessary changes and decisions.

- Lead on Operations, commercials, culture and people leadership.

- Where needs be, diversify the business to allow for positive change.

- Measure, track and improve service delivery through the consistent use of existing, or new systems.

- Build valuable relationships with external stakeholders and improve the commerciality of the business by implementing and developing innovative ideas and strategies

- Support the Board with their vision surrounding growth plans and the development of their existing portfolio

The Candidate

You will have exceptional interpersonal skills and will be able to identify opportunities that the business will be able to utilise.

You will be a passionate, motivated and an ambitious advocate for people, positive culture and growth. You will be hands-on; have extensive operational experience; a demonstrable track record of measurable organisational improvement; and an understanding of how a successful care provider should operate.

The successful candidate will be someone who can drive performance and continually striving for excellence. They will have a good commercial understanding of the business and will be able to support the operational day to day workings.

- Currently working to a Director level

- Good commercial understanding

- Passion for the care of elderly people (essential)

- Educated to degree level

This role is based in South of England.
