Are you a Veterinary Surgeon looking to work within a genuinely independent practice where continuity of care, client relationships, and clinical autonomy are prioritised? Would you value being part of a small, established team with a strong presence in the local community?
We are working with a long-standing independent small animal practice in North West London, with over 25 years’ experience supporting clients across the surrounding areas. With two sites serving a loyal and established client base, the practice has built a reputation for delivering personalised, high-quality care while maintaining a close connection to the community it serves.
This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, close-knit team and work alongside an experienced Veterinary Surgeon in a role that offers both structure and flexibility. You will be working within a first opinion environment, seeing a broad mix of routine and medical cases. The practice aims to manage the majority of cases in-house, with surgical procedures carried out on-site wherever appropriate. More complex orthopaedic cases are supported by a visiting specialist, alongside access to external referral services when required.
The role is available on either a full-time or part-time basis. This includes Saturdays on rotation, with no out-of-hours, Sundays, or bank holiday commitments. The team has developed long-standing relationships within the local community, supported by a reputation for approachable, transparent, and professional care.
The clinics offer a comprehensive range of services, covering everything from routine preventative care such as vaccinations and health checks through to diagnostics, imaging, dentistry, and surgery. Facilities include ultrasound and radiography, alongside in-house capabilities that allow for efficient investigation and treatment of cases.
The practice also supports clients with additional services including behavioural advice, nutritional guidance, preventative healthcare, and travel documentation. Where needed, there is a well-established network of referral partners and laboratories to ensure patients receive the appropriate level of care.
The team itself is small and collaborative, consisting of a Veterinary Surgeon, their nursing team, and front-of-house staff, creating an environment where communication is clear and continuity of care is maintained.
