Complex Needs - Mental Health and neurological conditions
Compass Associates are delighted to be continuing their support for an established and respected specialist care provider in search for a Registered Manager. The successful Registered / Home / Hospital Manager will be overlooking a 24-hour nursing care facility for adults with complex health needs including those with mental health conditions such as schizophrenia, as well as those with neurological conditions which includes Huntington’s Disease, Motor Neurone Disease, and Acquired Brain Injuries.
We are looking to appoint a commercially astute individual, who has strong experience and knowledge with those with complex needs. You will also need to be able to demonstrate excellent experience around CQC. The successful individual will ideally be nurse qualified or hold a successful history of managing either a mental health or/and neurological facility. Candidates must be able to evidence previous CQC inspections and have capability to drive the commercials and an approachable management style that will champion staff and complement their existing management team.
Criteria- Experience in either mental health or a neurological setting
- Strong commercial awareness
- Able to develop strong relationships with local healthcare agencies, local community, and professionals
- Desirable - nurse qualified (RGN / RMN / RNLD)
- Strong business acumen
- Strong relationships with Local Authorities / ICB
The interview process will consist of 3 stages:
- 1st stage will be an informal teams call
- 2nd stage will be formal and traditional face to face interview which may include a presentation
- 3rd stage will be the final two candidates, and again will be a formal interview
