This is a rare opportunity to build one of the most advanced diagnostic centres in the North of England from the ground up. We are supporting an established and growing independent medical imaging provider launching a brand-new, purpose-built Diagnostic and Treatment Centre in Leeds. Designed without legacy constraints and equipped with world-class technology, this site will set a new regional benchmark for clinical quality, patient experience, and operational excellence.
We are seeking an exceptional Centre Manager to support and shape the centre from its earliest days.
About the Centre
This new hub has been designed to optimise patient flow and clinical delivery, ensuring every patient journey is seamless and every team member can perform at their best. The centre will operate across NHS and private pathways, while fostering partnerships with clinicians, universities, sports organisations, and corporate clients.
- State-of-the-art 3T MRI and advanced CT scanning

The Role
As Centre Manager, you will combine operational leadership with regional stakeholder engagement, including:
- Lead the day-to-day operational delivery of the centre.
- Manage and develop a multidisciplinary team of radiographers, onsite radiologists, radiology department assistants, and administrative staff.
- Drive quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee contracts, activity performance, and service delivery standards.
- Ensure an exceptional, patient-first culture across all services.
- Act as the regional face of the centre, building relationships with clinicians, university leaders, sports organisations, and external partners.
- Support growth of services and continued development of the site’s capabilities.
About You
We are looking for a confident and ambitious leader who combines operational precision with strategic vision. You will bring:
- Proven experience managing clinical or diagnostic services at a senior level.
- Strong track record of delivering performance within contracted healthcare environments.
- Experience leading and developing radiology or multidisciplinary clinical teams.
- Deep understanding of quality, governance, and regulatory standards.
- Commercial awareness within mixed NHS/private healthcare models.
- Credibility with clinicians and external stakeholders.
- Meticulous attention to detail and consistently high standards.
- The ambition and drive to build and shape a flagship service.
