£38,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance
Full-time, Permanent
Home-based with regional travel (covering Northamptonshire and the North of East Anglia, including Ipswich, Colchester, and Norwich)
Compass Associates are delighted to be working exclusively with a national provider supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. This home-based role plays a key part in delivering Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) across services throughout Northamptonshire and the Northeast Anglia region.
Key Responsibilities
- Support staff teams and managers in the implementation of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies through coaching, mentoring, and tailored training programmes
- Develop, review, and implement Behaviour Support Plans that are aligned with individual needs, preferences, and outcomes
- Carry out functional assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions to improve quality of life and behavioural outcomes
- Work collaboratively with service managers, multidisciplinary teams, and families to maintain high standards of person-centred care
- Lead initiatives aimed at reducing restrictive practices and promoting positive, least-restrictive approaches across services
- Act as a regional PBS specialist, driving service quality and enhancing staff practice across residential and supported living environments
Skills & Experience
- Educated to degree level or equivalent, with substantial experience and a proven track record in the application of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
- Minimum of two years’ experience working within a PBS-focused role
- Willingness to travel up to four days per week to conduct field visits across the designated service region
- Full UK driving licence and access to own car
