An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Consultant Dermatologist to join a growing private healthcare provider as Lead Dermatologist across their South London clinics. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career, combining clinical practice with the opportunity to have greater input into the development and delivery of dermatology services.

The Opportunity

Working approximately 4 hours per week, you will provide high-quality dermatology services while taking a lead role within the specialty. The position is offered on a self-employed basis, with a highly flexible approach to working hours, making it ideal for a Consultant looking to complement existing NHS or private commitments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality outpatient dermatology consultations and treatment
  • Act as the clinical lead for dermatology services across the South London clinics
  • Support the development and growth of the dermatology offering
  • Provide clinical guidance and leadership where required
  • Help maintain excellent standards of governance, patient safety and clinical care
  • Work collaboratively with the wider clinical and operational teams

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an experienced Dermatologist who is confident clinically and interested in progressing into a leadership position. You will ideally have:

  • GMC registration with a licence to practise
  • Specialist Register in Dermatology
  • Previous Lead experience is not necessarily required — this could be an excellent opportunity for an established Dermatologist who is ready to step up and develop their leadership experience.
