This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Clinical Lead or Deputy Manager who is looking to join a values-led organisation where they can genuinely influence standards, support teams and make a positive difference to residents’ lives. The home provides nursing and residential care for older adults and benefits from an experienced Home Manager, established staffing teams and a supportive leadership structure. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Home Manager, providing visible clinical leadership and continuing to drive excellence within the service.

The Role

  • Support the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the service
  • Provide strong clinical leadership across the nursing and care teams
  • Act as a visible presence within the home, supporting staff and residents
  • Lead, mentor and develop nurses and care staff to maintain exceptional standards of care
  • Support clinical governance, audits, care planning and CQC compliance processes
  • Drive continuous improvement and promote best practice throughout the service
  • Ensure residents receive safe, effective and person-centred care at all times
  • Work closely with families, healthcare professionals and the wider multidisciplinary team
  • Support a positive culture where residents’ wellbeing and quality of life remain the priority

Candidate Requirements

  • RGN qualification with an active NMC pin
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a Deputy Manager or Clinical Lead within an elderly nursing home environment
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of CQC regulations, inspections and compliance requirements
  • Proven experience leading, developing and supporting nursing teams
  • Strong clinical knowledge, particularly within elderly care and dementia nursing
  • Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
  • The confidence to challenge, influence and drive improvements within a service
  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding care and improving residents’ quality of life
