This particular opportunity is to manage a small Residential and Dementia home with a Good CQC rating. The home benefits from a long-serving and experienced staff team, a supportive operational management structure, and the full backing of a provider that values autonomy, pride, and collaborative leadership.

The incoming Home Manager will be responsible for providing stability, building trust with a committed team, and continuing to deliver the highest standards of care. The Candidate

We are seeking an experienced and inspirational leader who can demonstrate the following:

  • Proven experience as a Home Manager within an elderly Residential/Dementia setting.
  • A strong track record of achieving Good–Outstanding CQC outcomes, with a clear understanding of the regulatory framework.
  • Excellent leadership and people-management skills, with the ability to engage, motivate, and support a long-serving staff team.
  • Experience of managing care standards, staffing, compliance, budgets, and occupancy.
  • A confident, approachable, and consistent presence, with strong communication skills to build trust with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • A genuine passion for dementia care, bringing both knowledge and empathy to the role.

This role requires a leader who thrives on building relationships, values teamwork, and can provide the consistency and stability needed to help the team flourish.

Summary
