Compass Associates are proud to be exclusively partnered with a well-established charity, supporting circa 2000 adults across England with learning disabilities. Working closely alongside the Chief Quality Officer, Compass are leading a search to appoint a Head of Quality on a one year fixed term contract.

In this role you will significantly contribute to the organisation’s approach to quality and compliance, striving for high quality in care and regulatory compliance within all care settings. This post is perfectly suited to a Head of Quality seeking to transition into a Director level post.

Candidates who are available immediately or have a heavily negotiable notice are preferred.

  • Develop quality assurance, audit, and governance frameworks, embedding systems and processes
  • Support service managers in achieving and maintaining outstanding standards
  • Oversee preparation for CQC inspections and follow-up actions
  • Drive service improvement across existing and new services

Significant experience in adult social care – specifically learning disabilities and autism

Strong background in quality assurance, governance, and audit

Understanding of service culture and workforce engagement

Hybrid, with monthly travel into London, this is a largely remote role where the vast bulk of your time will be spent home working.

Applications will be reviewed by the senior leadership team, most notably the chief quality officer. The panel will include the charity's CEO and CQO.
