Are you an experienced Registered Nurse with an oncology background looking for your next step within a supportive private hospital environment? We’re working with a leading independent healthcare provider in Guildford to recruit a Senior Staff Nurse to join their Oncology team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced nurse who enjoys combining hands-on patient care with supporting and developing junior colleagues. You’ll be joining a friendly, collaborative team within a well-established hospital offering a broad range of complex surgical and specialist services.
As Senior Staff Nurse, you’ll play an important role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care while providing day-to-day support and supervision to junior members of the nursing team.
- Delivering safe, effective and compassionate care to patients
- Providing clinical supervision and support to junior nurses and students
- Using your clinical experience and autonomy to make appropriate decisions around patient care
- Supporting rotas and scheduling
- Supporting performance reviews, training and development
- Leading by example and helping maintain high clinical standards across the service
You’ll be an NMC Registered Nurse with relevant post-registration experience and a strong commitment to delivering excellent patient care. Previous oncology experience is important for this position, alongside experience supporting or mentoring junior colleagues.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, with some weekend working required. Salary up to £51,000 per annum, depending on experience.
