The Role
Compass Associates are working on a confidential search for a Home Manager on behalf of a highly respected, values-led national elderly care provider. This is a key operational leadership appointment within a well-supported home following a recent change at the top. The successful candidate will take full accountability for clinical quality, commercial performance, workforce stability and resident experience, with clear scope to reset culture and drive standards forward. Working closely with an experienced Regional Director and Regional Support Manager, the Home Manager will lead the on-site team, sharpen KPIs around occupancy, staffing and agency usage, and rebuild momentum in a home with strong foundations and genuine potential.
Candidate
We are seeking a visible, hands-on leader with genuine commercial acumen and a strong understanding of what excellent care looks like in practice. You will combine clinical credibility with the confidence to hold a team to account, engage families and residents, and translate group standards into day-to-day operational delivery. Candidates from established corporate care groups will be of particular interest given the scale and pace of the environment, though strong candidates from smaller or independent providers will be considered where there is clear evidence of turnaround success, CQC delivery and longevity in role. Above all, the successful candidate will be motivated by quality, comfortable leading through change, and energised by the opportunity to make a home genuinely their own within a supportive national structure.
