Compass Associates are delighted to be partnering with a well-established charity provider to recruit a Service Manager for a rare and highly rewarding opportunity based in Dunfermline. This role will oversee a newly established supported living service supporting the transition of individuals from long-term hospital care into a community setting. The service forms part of a wider organisation with an excellent reputation for delivering person-centred support across Scotland.
This is a genuinely unique opportunity to establish and lead a new specialist service, build and develop your own team, and play a pivotal role in delivering positive outcomes for individuals with complex needs. They will have a strong background supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviours, alongside previous management experience within supported living, residential care or complex care services. Experience within Positive Behaviour Support environments will be essential, alongside a strong understanding of safeguarding, legislation and person-centred support.
My client is seeking an operationally focussed, resilient and compassionate leader who is willing to lead from the front and can work collaboratively with families, multidisciplinary professionals and external stakeholders, whilst maintaining high standards of governance, compliance and service delivery.
- Minimum 2 years leadership or management experience within a relevant care setting
- Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities
- Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) experience
- Experience supporting hospital discharge or transition projects
- SVQ Level 4/5 or equivalent management qualification
