You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team alongside experienced eye care professionals, including ophthalmologists, and play a crucial role in the delivery of a diverse range of clinical eye care services to the company's patients.

Role OverviewThis role is ideal for an Optometrist with at least a year's post-registration experience who is eager to expand their clinical skillset. Full specialist training will be provided, including refractive, cataract, and glaucoma pathways. You'll be working in a modern clinic environment with state of the art technology, where patient care is paramount and continuous professional development is encouraged.
Key Responsibilities- Providing essential and advanced eye examinations
- Supporting ophthalmologists with clinical assessments
- Being part of our multi-disciplinary YAG capsulotomy service, delivering these procedures.
- Conducting pre- and post-operative consultations for cataract and refractive procedures
- Communicate with and treat patients via telemedicine.
- Offer clinical advice regarding eye health, vision correction and preventative care
- In the referral triage team, you will be responsible for reviewing incoming referrals from optometrists, GPs and other primary care routes, allocating them to the most appropriate ophthalmology clinic.
- GOC Registered
- Minimum 1 year UK post-registration experience
- BSc in Optometry
- Strong clinical decision-making and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about delivering exceptional patient care
- Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team
- Prior experience in a private or clinical setting is a plus
- Salary up to £70,000
