Deputy Clinic Manager – Renal Services Gloucestershire | Up to £45,637 + On-Call Allowance
Are you an experienced renal nurse ready to take the next step into leadership? This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, patient-focused dialysis provider in a Deputy Clinic Manager position, offering clear progression into a Clinic Manager role.
The Opportunity
We are recruiting for a Deputy Clinic Manager to support the leadership of a modern dialysis unit in Gloucestershire. This is a replacement role within a high-performing team, offering strong development opportunities and exposure to both operational and clinical leadership. The clinic is a 29-station unit, working closely with NHS partners and delivering high standards of patient-centred care. Opened in 2023 and based within a hospital setting, the service also supports inpatient care, with potential for future expansion. You’ll work closely with the Clinic Manager, taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service and stepping up in their absence.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the overall management of clinic operations and clinical standards
- Lead, supervise, and develop a team of nursing staff
- Manage rotas, staffing levels, and patient scheduling
- Oversee audits, stock control, and regulatory compliance
- Maintain high standards of care in line with renal best practice guidelines
- Build strong relationships with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Working Pattern
Monday to Saturday shifts (mix of long and short days) No nights or Sundays, but includes on-call rota
About You
- NMC Registered Nurse
- Essential: UK haemodialysis experience
- Essential: Recognised renal qualification/course
- Proven experience in a senior or leadership role within a dialysis setting
- Confident managing clinical operations and leading a team
- Motivated to progress into a Clinic Manager position
