Compass Associates are proud to be working with a leading national Women's Health provider to recruit a Clinical Services Matron for their recently expanded West Midlands Centre. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse leader to join a modern, specialist healthcare service, playing a key role in supporting clinical teams, driving service excellence and delivering outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, guidance and support to Clinical Team Leaders and nursing staff.
  • Oversee the day-to-day delivery of clinical services.
  • Drive high standards of patient care, safety and clinical governance.
  • Support workforce planning, recruitment and staff development.
  • Lead audits, incident management and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards, clinical policies and best practice.
  • Work closely with the senior leadership team to support service growth and operational performance.

This role would suit a confident, compassionate and proactive clinical leader who enjoys balancing operational management with delivering exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

  • Active NMC Pin
  • Previous clinical leadership or management experience.
  • Strong understanding of clinical governance and quality improvement.
  • Experience managing, developing and supporting clinical teams.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.

This role is based in Birmingham and is commutable from Coventry, Solihull, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Dudley, Tamworth, Lichfield, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Worcester, Nuneaton and Rugby.
