Lead Clinical Psychologist β Neuro Rehabilitation
Birmingham
Part-time, permanent
Up to Β£56,000 per annum FTE

With state-of-the-art therapy suites, dedicated assessment rooms, and cutting-edge rehabilitation equipment, the centre sets a high standard for exceptional patient care.
We are looking for an experienced Lead Clinical Psychologist to become a key part of this multidisciplinary team. You will collaborate closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, nurses, speech and language therapists, and consultants. This is a unique opportunity to lead and shape support in a rehabilitation centre that champions personalised, evidence-based rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert psychological assessment and intervention for patients with neurological, psychological, and physical health conditions
- Apply advanced knowledge of neuropsychological, cognitive, behavioural, and systemic models to inform treatment
- Provide strategic leadership for psychological services across the rehabilitation centre and relevant care pathways
- Ensuring safe, evidence-based, and patient-focused practice within the service
- Contribute to hospital and corporate service planning, representing psychological services at senior management forums
- Lead initiatives in outcome measurement, performance monitoring, and service development for psychology
Requirements
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology recognised by the HCPC
- HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical)
- Significant post-qualification experience in neuropsychology, complex rehabilitation, or physical health settings
- Expertise in neuropsychological assessment, cognitive rehabilitation, and therapeutic approaches (e.g. CBT, ACT, systemic)
