Hours: 40 hours or 48 hour contracts available (2 days supernumerary and 2 days clinical shifts per week, 1 in 4 weekends as duty manager)

About the Role

Compass Associates are proud to be working with a valued care provider who are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to join their well-regarded nursing home in the South West London area. This welcoming home offers high-quality nursing, residential, and dementia care for elderly residents. As the Clinical Deputy Manager, you will play a key leadership role, supporting the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring clinical excellence, and promoting a compassionate, person-centred culture.

The Ideal Candidate

  • We’re looking for a passionate and experienced nurse leader who can inspire and support a dedicated care team.
  • You’ll have strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a genuine commitment to providing exceptional care for older people.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RGN) with a current and active NMC pin
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within an elderly care environment
  • At least 2 years’ leadership experience, such as Unit Manager, Clinical Lead, Head of Care
  • Strong clinical background in elderly and dementia care
  • A proactive, supportive, and approachable management style
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Interview Process

This role involves a two-stage interview process:

  • Initial interview with the Home Manager
  • Final interview with the Home Manager and Operations Manager

Location

The home is based near South West London area and is easily commutable from Twickenham, Surbiton, Kingston upon Thames, Epsom, Walton on Thames, Oxshott, Wimbledon, Woking, Staines-upon-Thames and Redhill.
