Full-Time - Permanent

We are partnering with an established private healthcare provider in Central London to appoint a Lead Cardiac Physiologist into a key, service-defining role. You’ll be stepping into a position where you can influence how a cardiac diagnostics service is run, developed, and expanded over time.

This isn’t just about managing a well-oiled machine. There is real scope and support to innovate, expand, and shape the service’s future. Contribute to longer-term growth plans across additional sites. Support bids and tenders for new NHS partnerships. Introduce new services and diagnostic pathways.

You’ll lead a team of 5 balancing hands-on clinical work with leadership and operational responsibility:

  • Performing and reporting high-quality Echocardiograms.
  • Supporting and overseeing Holter ECG services.
  • Day-to-day team leadership, mentoring, and performance oversight.
  • Support CPD and education programmes.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance and expand the service.

Takes pride in clinical quality and patient outcomes. Wants to have a voice in how a service is run. Has an interest in building and scaling services longer term.

Requirements:

  • BSE accreditation in TTE and/or Stress Echo.
  • Degree in Clinical Physiology or Healthcare Science equivalent.
  • Able to independently perform a range of Cardiology investigations including Echocardiography.
  • Previous line management experience desired.

Salary up to £70,000 depending on experience.
