Our client’s mission is to make personal healthcare more accessible, inclusive and human for all individuals, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, age, or relationship status. Their comprehensive healthcare offering bridges the gap between traditional private medical insurance and general practice care, providing holistic support across fertility and family forming, maternity and infant care, menopause, women’s and men’s reproductive health, neurodiversity, mental wellbeing and lifestyle health.
Following significant investment and continued growth, the business is entering an exciting new phase of expansion and is now seeking an experienced Clinical Advisor to join their growing Clinical Services team.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing health-tech organisation that is making a genuine impact on people’s lives. The clinical team is made up of highly knowledgeable, compassionate and accredited professionals who specialise across a wide range of healthcare pathways. As a Clinical Advisor, you will act as the primary clinical point of contact for patients navigating complex and often sensitive healthcare journeys. You will provide evidence-based guidance, emotional support and clinical navigation to help patients better understand their options and make informed decisions regarding their care.
Although this role may centre around your specialist area of expertise — such as fertility, menopause, men’s health, neurodiversity, mental health, lifestyle health (including weight management) or reproductive health — you will work within a multi-disciplinary environment and receive cross-training to support patients across all clinical pathways. This is a dynamic and patient-facing position suited to someone who is proactive, compassionate and comfortable working within a fast-paced digital healthcare environment. You will report into the Head of Clinical Services and work closely alongside the Medical Director, Patient Advisors and wider operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual discovery consultations within your specialist area, helping patients understand investigations, treatment pathways and next steps
- Act as a first point of contact for patient enquiries across multiple healthcare pathways
- Interpret and explain clinical results, treatment plans and follow-up options in clear, patient-friendly language
- Provide empathetic, clinically informed support to individuals navigating sensitive healthcare journeys
- Signpost patients to additional clinical specialists and resources where appropriate
- Respond to app-based and email enquiries in a professional, timely and patient-centred manner
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold high standards of confidentiality and safeguarding
- Support patients before, during and after treatment journeys to ensure continuity of care
- Operational Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert within your specialist pathway, supporting colleagues with complex clinical queries
- Collaborate with partner clinics and diagnostic providers to ensure a seamless patient experience
- Contribute to the development and optimisation of digital tools and patient services
- Create educational resources, deliver webinars and facilitate health education sessions
- Work collaboratively with the wider clinical and operational teams to support day-to-day service delivery
Requirements
- Valid professional registration with a relevant governing body (NMC, HCPC, BACP, UKCP or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years’ specialist experience in one or more of the following areas: Fertility / Family Forming, Menopause, Men’s or Women’s Reproductive Health, Neurodiversity, Mental Health, Infant / Paediatric Care, Lifestyle Health / Weight Management
- Proven experience conducting patient-facing consultations
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex clinical information clearly and empathetically
- Confident using digital systems, Microsoft Office and patient management platforms
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced digital healthcare environment
- Proactive and adaptable approach to learning across multiple clinical pathways
- Previous experience within digital health or virtual clinical settings would be advantageous but not essential
- Clinical interest or exposure to wider reproductive or wellbeing pathways
- Committed to ongoing professional development and continuous learning
Salary & Benefits
In return, there is a competitive salary of up to £55,000 dependent on experience, alongside an excellent benefits package including:
- Hybrid working (3 days in office, 2 from home)
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- 3 wellbeing days per year
- Monthly travel allowance
- Generous annual learning budget
- Healthcare cash plan
- EMI share options scheme
- Discounted reproductive health services
- Enhanced policies for fertility, menopause, maternity/paternity, and more
