Are you a Senior Veterinary Nurse looking for a new challenge? Want to lead a large team of Nurses at one of the very best-in-class veterinary hospitals of the South? Following our current Head RVN receiving a promotion to support the wider business, we are welcoming new applicants to join our growing team as part of our Senior Leadership Team. The hospital itself offers 24-hour vet care and a great mix of both first opinion and referral services; these include behaviour exams, hydrotherapy, orthopaedics and (coming later in 2026) CT Scanning.
The Role: Our new HRVN will oversee a large team of 2 dozen nurses, students, care assistants, and support the Practice Manager to oversee non-clinical staff. You will be responsible for managing the nursing Rota, offering training & development to juniors and will report to our Practice Manager to discuss nursing utilization and performance. In addition: ensure efficient clinical operations, support Vet Surgeons during consults, surgeries, and diagnostics, as well as manage laboratory processes and records. Oversight of patient care including treatments and vaccinations, maintenance of compliant records and clinical equipment and maintaining PSS requirements. This is not a laid-back nursing leadership role, but a vacancy where you will take real ownership of a large, multi-disciplinary team and use your management skills to really elevate our place in the market. This is a full time role with 1 in 4 shorter Saturdays.
You: Our Most Important Thing is your personality. You must be driven, have real motivation to develop clinical standards, commercial performance and staff & client satisfaction. All candidates must have an active Registered Veterinary Nurse PIN and previous HRVN experience.
Remuneration: We are looking to offer up to circa £40,000 DOE with some flexibility to negotiate further. Alongside, you get:
