Compass Associates are excited to be working with one of the UK’s largest supermarket chain’s pharmacy stores in the search for a dedicated pharmacist to lead their dedicated team in Carmarthen.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and will be able to work effectively as a part of a cohesive team. You’ll have a “can-do” attitude and will have a passion for providing great care. My client is open to accepting candidates from varied backgrounds- so whether you have experience in primary care, secondary care, or even if you’re newly qualified, this may be the role for you!
This will be a full-time position where you’ll be working 40 hours per week over 4 or 5 days per week. The ability to work some weekends is essential. My client also offers a very competitive benefits package ensuring your professional development is supported and promoted.

- Procure and prepare medicines as needed.
- Dispense medicines effectively and accurately.
- Organising prescriptions for patients.
- Use excellent communication skills to ensure patients’ needs are met.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- MPharm, BPharm or equivalent.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Experience within a community pharmacy environment desirable but not essential.
This Community Pharmacy is based in Carmarthen and commutable from Cross Hands, Llanelli, Ammanford, Llandeilo, Newcastle Emlyn, Lampeter, St Clears, Narberth, Haverfordwest and Swansea.
