- Deliver expert clinical pharmacy services, including medicines reconciliation, clinical screening, and therapeutic drug monitoring.
- Optimise medicines use through evidence-based interventions across acute and long-term conditions.
- Support prescribing decisions through clinical assessment, risk evaluation, and formulary guidance.
- Lead medicines optimisation initiatives aligned with national and local guidelines.
- Contribute to the development and review of clinical guidelines, protocols, and policies.
- Monitor medicines usage, governance, and safety incidents, participating in audits, root cause analysis, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Work collaboratively across Theatres, Wards, and the Dispensary to ensure safe and effective medicines management.
Have experience within hospital pharmacy. Possess strong clinical knowledge and experience in medicines optimisation. Have a solid understanding of governance, audits, and quality standards.
Based in Cambridge, this hospital is easily commutable from Ely, Peterborough, Royson, Bury-St-Edmonds, Newmarket, Huntingdon, St Neots, Biggleswade and Bishops Stortford.
