Compass Associates are proud to be working with a leading cosmetic surgery provider, who are currently in search for an Outpatient Clinic Nurse to join their team in Bristol on a full-time permanent basis. Specialising in both surgical and non-surgical procedures, this growing company provides a unique and personalised approach to achieve the desired results for each individual. The Candidate
The successful candidate will work as part of their highly specialised Nursing team to provide effective and patient-focused care, ensuring the smooth running of the outpatient clinic. They carry out a full range of cosmetic procedures including Breast Augmentation, Breast Reconstruction, Liposuction, Tummy Tuck and Rhinoplasty to name a few. My client is looking for someone who is friendly, caring and approachable to ensure that a high standard of care is delivered to all patients. Excellent communication skills will be crucial to provide the highest level of patient care, aligning with their company values.
This is a full-time position consisting of 40 hours per week, which is worked 8 hour days Mondays to Friday (9am-5.30pm) with no weekend requirement. The nursing team also take part in an on-call phone which is paid at an enhanced day rate.
In order to be successful with this opportunity, we are looking for a kind and compassionate nurse who has exposure to pre-assessment and/or outpatient setting, is very experienced in wound care, can take bloods, and is confident in working autonomously.
Responsibilities
- Pre-assessing patients before surgery
- Post-operative care
- Provide experience advice and patient education
- Wound care
- Taking bloods
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Participate in on-call phone (this will be paid at an enhanced rate!)
Requirements
- RGN with NMC registration
- Right to work in the UK
- Previous experience in an outpatient or pre-assessment setting
- Motivated and enthusiastic
- Confident in taking bloods
- Strong experience in wound care is essential
- Ability to work well independently
- Prior cosmetic experience will be advantageous but not essential
Salary & Package
In return, there is a salary of up to £35,000 on offer. My client is also offering additional benefits including 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays), private pension plan, training courses, staff discounts, team days out and travel expenses (where required). An immediate start date is on offer once satisfactory onboarding checks are complete.
