Addiction Therapist – Residential Rehabilitation Service in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
This is a rewarding opportunity to be part of a dedicated team, providing both group and one-to-one therapeutic support and the best possible care and treatment.
- Deliver structured 1:1 therapy sessions and group interventions to adults in residential rehab.
- Support clients with drug and alcohol dependency, trauma, and co-occurring mental health needs.
- Contribute to holistic recovery planning, including aftercare and discharge support.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to care planning and risk management.
Requirements:
- Level 4 qualification in Counselling or equivalent; candidates with strong experience in mental health and trauma will also be considered.
- Minimum of one year’s experience working directly with clients and facilitating one-to-one and group therapy.
- Excellent communication skills and a flexible, client-centred approach.
