We are working with a highly regarded elderly care provider seeking an experienced Home Manager to lead a large nursing and residential care home. The service is currently performing well, with good occupancy, a strong private fee payer mix of approximately 70%, and no reliance on agency staffing. The home currently holds a Good CQC rating, and the provider’s ambition is to progress the service to Outstanding. This role would suit a motivated and quality-focused leader who enjoys building on strong foundations and driving services toward the very highest standards.
The group are very forward thinking and run an internal leadership and development programme, have Investors in People Platinum and ISO 9001 and 14001 certification. They provide their home managers with lots of autonomy and support to run the home the way that they need to.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the day-to-day running of a large nursing and residential care home.
- Lead and support the senior management team.
- Maintain high clinical, operational, and compliance standards across the service.
- Drive the home toward achieving an Outstanding CQC rating.
- Ensure adherence to rigorous quality assurance frameworks and accreditation standards.
- Continue to build occupancy and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders.
- Proven experience as a successful Nursing Home Manager within elderly care.
- RGN qualification preferred, although strong candidates with excellent clinical oversight will also be considered.
- Demonstrable track record of achieving and maintaining at least a Good CQC rating.
- Strong operational and clinical leadership skills.
- Experience managing large teams and complex nursing care environments.
- Passionate about quality, people development, and continuous improvement.
