Audiologist – Private Opticians and Audiology Provider Location: Surrey – Covering Banstead, Purley, Croydon, Bookham and Caterham Salary: £45,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance Employment Type: Full time – Monday to Saturday (1 Saturday off per month), no Sunday work Visa Sponsorship: Not available Compass Associates are proud to be working with a respected private hearing care provider to recruit a Qualified Audiologist to support and grow their Surrey community clinics, covering Banstead, Purley, Croydon, Bookham and Caterham. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering a balanced private-practice role focused on high-quality, ethical hearing care rather than aggressive sales targets. You’ll deliver adult hearing assessments, hearing aid fitting and aftercare, and wax removal (microsuction preferred, with training available), while owning your clinic diary and building long-term relationships with a loyal local patient base. The Role Provide adult audiology services across multiple Surrey clinics Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and evidence-based hearing aid fittings Deliver high-quality aftercare and patient follow-up Carry out wax removal, including microsuction (or undertake training) Work closely with the Lead Audiologist for Surrey and the Head of Audiology Travel between sites with the support of a car allowance The Ideal Candidate Qualified Audiologist with HCPC registration (or eligibility) BSc, MSc of FD in Audiology – All considered Background in NHS and/or private practice welcome Strong adult diagnostic audiology skills Confident communicator with a patient-centred, consultative approach Comfortable working in a private, revenue-generating environment without “hard sell” pressure Full UK driving licence and access to a car What’s on Offer ~ Salary of £42,000–£45,000 ~£5,000 car allowance ~ Incentive scheme linked to hearing aid sales ~33 days annual leave (including bank holidays) ~ Full-time, permanent position ~ Supportive clinical leadership and ongoing development ~ Modern equipment and well-resourced clinics Location & Working Pattern Surrey clinics: Banstead, Purley, Croydon, Bookham and Caterham Monday to Saturday working pattern (rota basis) No Sunday working Interview Process The process is swift and transparent , designed to assess both clinical and cultural fit: # Initial telephone interview with the head of Audiology # On sit Interview with Lead Audiologist Interested?
