We are recruiting a Regional Operations Manager to oversee a portfolio of 8 high-quality nursing and residential care homes across South London and Kent. This is a key senior leadership role within a values-led, quality-focused care provider operating in the self-funded elderly care market.
Working closely with the executive leadership and quality teams, you will provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure the delivery of exceptional care, strong governance, and sustainable commercial performance across the region. As Regional Operations Manager, you will have full accountability for regional performance, including:
- Leadership and development of Home Managers, fostering a culture of high performance, compassion, and accountability
- Oversight of care quality, compliance, and governance, working closely with central quality and clinical teams
- Driving occupancy, financial performance, and cost control while never compromising on care standards
- Supporting homes through inspections and continuous improvement initiatives
- Line management of a Regional Support / Quality resource
- Acting as a visible, supportive leader across the region, with regular travel between services
We are seeking an experienced senior leader with a proven track record of successfully managing a multi-site portfolio of elderly care homes:
- Previous experience as a Regional Operations Manager, Regional Manager, or Regional Director within elderly care
- Strong background in nursing and/or residential care homes
- A demonstrable ability to balance quality, compliance, and commercial performance
- Proven experience in a senior regional leadership role within elderly care
- Strong understanding of CQC standards and quality improvement framework
- Willingness to travel extensively across South London and Kent
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
