Area Manager – Adult Residential Care – Learning Disabilities Greater Manchester (covering both North and South Manchester) £53,218 plus mileage & bonus Are you an experienced and driven Area Manager with a passion for supporting and developing residential care services? We are currently recruiting for an established and rapidly growing social care provider, as they expand their services across the Manchester area They have an excellent reputation throughout the North West and have supported people with autism, learning disabilities and associated complex needs for nearly 3 decades. About the Role: As Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing two well-established residential services initially, with the exciting opportunity to expand as new services are commissioned. The role will cover services in Salford and St Helen’s, with further responsibility extending to new developments in Wigan, Trafford, and Stockport. You’ll be heavily involved in guiding and supporting the teams as these services grow and develop, ensuring that each home meets the highest standards of care, quality, and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the management of three residential services across the Manchester area. Provide leadership, support, and guidance to Home Managers and their teams. Play a key role in the commissioning and opening of new services. Ensure that all services deliver person-centred care in accordance with regulatory standards. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and development across all sites. Work closely with senior leadership to ensure the growth and success of the organisation. About You: Strong experience in managing adult residential care services. Ability to lead and inspire teams, providing both operational and strategic direction. Experience in overseeing multiple sites and managing complex projects. A passion for improving the quality of care and making a difference to people’s lives.
