Summary: Compass Associates are delighted to be partnering with a leading provider of mental health and addiction recovery services as they launch a flagship, therapy-led residential programme in North West London. This unique and ground-breaking service supports individuals who do not require medical detox but would benefit from immersive, structured, and trauma-informed care. With programmes spanning 14, 28, or 42 days, the service provides support for both substance and behavioural addictions and is built on harm-reduction, non-12-step, person-centred principles. We are now recruiting across three key therapy roles, offering opportunities for professionals at varying levels of experience - from newly accredited therapists to seasoned clinical leaders.

Your Role at a Glance: Whether you are starting your therapy career or stepping into service leadership, this is a rare opportunity to contribute to a new model of recovery from the ground up.

  • Addictions Therapist & Integrative Therapist & CBT Therapist: Deliver 1:1 and group therapy, support care planning, and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Senior Addictions Therapist: Hold a clinical caseload, supervise junior staff, and lead on complex therapeutic interventions
  • Therapy Lead: Shape therapeutic delivery, lead the therapy team, and contribute to operational and clinical development

All roles are based within a highly supportive MDT environment that places ethical, trauma-informed and collaborative care at the forefront of recovery.

Key Responsibilities: Depending on your level of appointment, responsibilities may include:

  • Delivering high-quality, evidence-based 1:1 and group therapy
  • Supporting or leading on harm-reduction and non-12-step recovery models
  • Providing supervision to junior therapists (for senior roles)
  • Collaborating in clinical case reviews and MDT planning
  • Taking ownership of service development projects or clinical areas
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records and governance standards
  • Promoting a trauma-informed, client-led ethos of care

What We’re Looking For:

Essential:

  • BACP, BABCP or HCPC accreditation (or working towards for entry-level roles)
  • Experience in addiction, recovery or mental health therapy
  • Strong group therapy facilitation skills
  • Alignment with trauma-informed, non-judgmental, person-centred approaches
  • Proactive, compassionate and team-oriented mindset

Additional for Senior/Lead Roles:

  • Previous experience supervising or mentoring therapists
  • Strong service development insight and leadership skills
  • Confidence managing complex caseloads
