- What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading complex security engineering initiatives across our Information Security domain, shaping technical direction and driving architectural decisions that strengthen our security posture.
- Acting as a trusted technical leader and subject matter expert, providing guidance on security technologies, controls, and best practices while mentoring engineers across the organisation.
- Developing long-term security strategies and roadmaps, ensuring security controls, platforms, and services evolve to meet business needs and emerging threats.
- Partnering with engineering, product, and technology teams to embed security-by-design principles across cloud platforms, distributed systems, and AI-enabled technologies.
- Leading the evaluation and adoption of new security capabilities, including AI-powered tooling and workflows, while ensuring solutions are implemented securely and align with engineering standards.
- Supporting the response to complex cyber security incidents and vulnerabilities, acting as an escalation point and helping to drive continuous improvement across our security operations.

We're looking for an experienced security engineering leader with a strong track record of influencing technical strategy and delivering secure, scalable solutions.
You'll bring deep expertise across multiple Information Security disciplines, combined with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Key Experience Includes
- Proven experience setting technical vision and making architectural decisions that balance customer, business, and security requirements.
- Strong knowledge across multiple security domains such as Cyber Security Operations, Vulnerability Management, Data Security, Security Engineering, and Cloud Security.
- Hands-on experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP, along with modern distributed and microservices-based architectures.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive alignment across teams and functions.
- Experience mentoring engineers and raising engineering standards within large-scale technology organisations.
- Interest in emerging technologies, particularly AI-enabled tooling, and an understanding of the opportunities and risks associated with their adoption in a security environment.
